As with any medical ailment, prevention is key. Your pet's health is very much the same. We recommend your pet have a physical exam once every year, at the least. Senior and geriatric pets, may require additional care by the doctor. A physical exam gives the doctor the chance to catch any potentially dangerous conditions, and educate you as the pet owner on these conditions. As your pet ages, recommendations may change. Starting at the age of 5 we recommend a mini blood screening, and after the age of 7 we recommend a more comprehensive screening. Feline and Canine Senior Plans are now available!
