Meet the Doctors
Dr. Danois Salas
Is the owner of TLC Pet & Uptown Cat Hospital. He purchased both hospitals in July 2005. He is a CSU graduate. He has worked in the veterinary field since he was in college at NMSU. He is married and has 2 daughters, ages 7 & 4. In his spare time, he likes to go fishing and do woodworking. Dr. Salas is also a New Orleans Saints fan!!
Medical Interests:

Dr. Jennifer Thompson
Dr. Jennifer Thompson moved to Albuquerque in July 2011 and is living in the southwest for the first time! She completed her undergraduate degree at Indiana University, and attended veterinary school at Ohio State. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, photography, and hopes to become a certified scuba diver soon. She and her husband share their new home with 2 cats (Merlin & Rocky), 1 dog (Aria) and a tank of tropical fish.
Medical Interests:
"I love everything about being a veterinarian, but I have a soft spot in my heart for emergency medicine, shelter medicine, and oncology cases."
Dr. Jessica Marsh
Dr Jessica Marsh grew up in South San Francisco, California and completed her undergraduate degree at California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo. She completed her veterinary degree at Kansas State University and became an avid Wildcats football fan while living in Manhattan, Kansas. She practiced equine medicine and surgery in New Mexico prior to switching over to small animal practice and enjoys working with her canine and feline patients very much! She and her husband, Anson, enjoy hiking with their dogs - Bear, Paige, Oso, and Duke -and riding their horses - Star, Twister and Junebug - with his daughter Alyssa. They also have three kitties -Cricket, Bodhi and Quigley!
Medical Interests:
Dr. Marsh enjoys dentistry, surgery and management of kitties with chronic renal failure.
Dr. Eddie Chavez, DVM
Dr. Chavez has been a lifelong resident of Corrales. He graduated from West Mesa High. He graduated from Kansas State with his veterinary degree. He has practiced here in NM for over 35 years. He also owned his own practice in ABQ South Valley. He enjoys fly fishing, woodworking & construction, photography & making wine. He & his wife, Yolanda, have 2 dogs.
